Description
The AKS Internship Program offers a paid summer internship for college students in Civil Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a similar field. Interns work full-time for 12 weeks in Bend, Keizer, Tualatin, or Vancouver, supporting geotechnical investigations, field and laboratory testing of construction materials, special inspections, documentation, and materials-testing operations. The role is supervised by a Geotechnical Engineer and includes mentorship, regular feedback, and a final evaluation. Compensation is $19 to $25 per hour, with overtime at 1.5 times the regular rate.
