Description
Amazon is hiring an Applied Scientist Intern to work in a cross-disciplinary research team on computer vision and machine learning problems. The intern will develop prototypes, contribute to research that may impact Amazon operations, collaborate with scientists, write and submit papers to top-tier conferences, and present findings. The internship is six months full time, starts in January–March 2027, requires a Melbourne base, and offers relocation allowance for candidates outside Melbourne. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a relevant PhD program, have computer vision or related experience, and have strong programming skills, with Python preferred.
