KLA is hiring an Applications Engineer to provide high-level applications support for its semiconductor products. The role involves product introduction and characterization, alpha and beta testing, pilot-tool support, remote and local troubleshooting, customer demonstrations, recipe development, technical training, best-known-method documentation, and publishing technical papers. Candidates need an MS or PhD in engineering, physics, optics, material science, or a related field, strong technical and communication skills, and 30%–90% travel.
