NXP is hiring an Application Engineer – Automotive MCU for its 2027 NCG Campus Hire program in Shanghai or Chongqing, China. The role supports automotive customers and engineering teams by developing embedded software, evaluation platforms, reference designs, application notes, and technical collateral; debugging and analyzing MCU hardware, software, and automotive-system issues; conducting workshops and trainings; and evaluating emerging automotive technologies. Candidates must be 2027 graduates in relevant engineering or computer science disciplines, have embedded systems and programming fundamentals, strong analytical and communication skills, and be willing to travel. Preferred qualifications include MCU and embedded software experience, AUTOSAR, functional safety, automotive cybersecurity, in-vehicle networking, hardware debugging, and software development tools.
