Description
Rocky Mountain Youth Corps is hiring two Field Technician Individual Placement AmeriCorps members for its 2027 season in Albuquerque and throughout New Mexico. The role supports Conservation Crews and field staff on conservation projects such as trail work, habitat restoration, fencing, and chainsaw work; provides crew and safety support; teaches technical skills; and performs physical field tasks. One technician follows a Tuesday–Tuesday spike schedule, while the other follows a Tuesday–Friday day-work schedule. The position pays $820 per week before taxes, offers an educational award of $7,395 upon completion of 1,700 service hours, and provides healthcare coverage, paid days off, childcare coverage, and other AmeriCorps benefits.
