Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Systems Engineer for its Fusion rotational training program in Gloucester, Massachusetts. The role involves designing, integrating, testing, and optimizing complex semiconductor equipment systems; writing system specifications; troubleshooting hardware, software, electrical, mechanical, physics, and algorithmic issues; and collaborating with product engineering, software, and system integration teams. The program begins in summer 2027 and includes three or four engineering departmental assignments plus one manufacturing assignment, with 10% travel and relocation eligibility. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or physics field, strong academic standing, problem-solving and judgment skills, and preferably prior internship or related experience and association leadership experience.
