Description
Merck is seeking a Scientific Co-op for its Vaccines and Advanced Biotechnologies Process Research & Development division. The role involves laboratory benchwork to execute, optimize, and troubleshoot downstream bioprocess unit operations and basic analytical techniques, contributing to process development, scale-up, technology transfer, and potentially GMP pilot-scale campaigns. The candidate will analyze and present experimental results, maintain records, follow safety and training requirements, and work independently and collaboratively. Applicants must be enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program and available for full-time work for 4–6 months in 2027; the posting is hybrid and offers no relocation or visa sponsorship.
