Description
Hoosier Racing Tire is hiring a Compound Engineer Intern in Plymouth, Indiana to assist the Compound Engineering Department with developing and evaluating race-winning rubber compounds. The intern will study elastomer technology, rubber ingredients, mixing and testing equipment, laboratory experiments, compound properties, and tire-curing thermodynamics; attend races and tire tests; and eventually design and lead independent projects. Applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students in Chemical Engineering, Rubber Engineering/Technology, or a related technical field, maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA, and be able to commute to Plymouth, Indiana.
