Description
Textron Aviation is hiring a Mechanical Design Intern to develop, plan, organize, and conduct complex aircraft mechanical-system design assignments involving environmental control, landing gear and brakes, hydraulics, ice protection, and flight controls. The role uses CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and drafting, supports prototype and production aircraft builds, laboratory simulations, test plans and reports, design reviews, customer-issue investigations, and coordination with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, and technical publications. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a related technical field; CATIA V5 experience is preferred, and the internship is a paid, full-time 10-week summer program requiring onsite work.
