Textron Aviation is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern to develop conceptual and detailed designs for aircraft interiors and exteriors. The role includes design research, sketching, human factors layout, physical mock-ups, 3D computer modeling, coordination with engineering and design teams, status reporting, and presentation of conceptual designs. Candidates should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial design, mechanical engineering, transportation design, or a related field, have strong communication and teamwork skills, and be able to work onsite for the full 10-week summer internship.
