Description
Textron Aviation is hiring a Tool Engineering Design Intern to apply core manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering principles to design, analyze, and improve tooling methods for aircraft. The intern will create tooling designs, NC programming, composite fiber placement, laser projection, manufacturing build and tooling plans, and equipment modifications; participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects; and analyze production processes for quality, work simplification, and cost reduction. The role is a paid, full-time 10-week summer internship from late May to early August, typically 40 hours per week, with onsite work required unless otherwise approved.
