Amazon Web Services is hiring Quantum Research Science and Applied Science Interns to work on fault-tolerant quantum computing research and applied science. Interns will develop scalable solutions, tackle advanced research problems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support customer-facing products. The role requires enrollment in a PhD, science-depth research experience, and availability for at least 40 hours per week for a maximum 12-week internship. Preferred qualifications include publications, Python or C++ programming, quantum hardware and control experience, and AI-assisted development tools. The internships are based in San Francisco, Santa Clara, Pasadena, and Boston, with starting annual salaries of 135,660 USD in Pasadena and 156,060 USD in Santa Clara.
