Costa Farms is hiring a paid Engineering Intern to work in a project-team setting at its headquarters in Miami, Florida. The intern will lead process-improvement projects in a manufacturing facility using Toyota Production System and Lean Manufacturing tools, and analyze production-unit performance using DMAIC methodology. The internship requires in-person attendance for nine weeks, a 3.0 GPA, relevant discipline knowledge, public-speaking ability, adaptability, and the ability to learn new technologies. Successful completion may lead to a contingent full-time offer upon college graduation.
