Description

The Ministry of Justice is hiring two Performance Analysts for its HMPPS Performance Unit within the Analysis Directorate. The Cross-Cutting Performance Analyst will analyse accommodation and employment outcomes, support performance reporting and official statistics, and advise on data quality and methodology. The Prison Performance Analyst will maintain the Prison Performance Framework, develop dashboards and R Shiny tools, support moderation and target-setting, and provide analysis to senior governance forums. Both roles require strong analytical, data, communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with experience in R, SQL, Power BI, coding, data visualisation, and stakeholder presentation desirable. The roles are permanent, full-time or part-time, and may be based in Leeds, London, or a Justice Collaboration Centre or Justice Satellite Office, with hybrid working subject to business need.
