Description
SGS is hiring an Environmental Monitoring Supervisor to oversee environmental monitoring activities in the Antofagasta Region, including field work at the Plant, Mine, and Ascotán Salt Flat areas. The role supervises daily monitoring execution, coordinates logistics and work teams, verifies compliance with technical, environmental, and safety procedures, manages corrective actions, and maintains communication with contract administration and operational personnel. Candidates need a chemical, environmental, or related engineering degree, at least four years of experience coordinating environmental monitoring work groups, environmental sampling and operational management experience, knowledge of environmental legislation and safety procedures, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a Class B driver's license held for at least three years.
