NEXTDC is hiring a Data Centre Technician in West Footscray to support 24/7 critical data centre operations. The role involves monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and escalating incidents for mechanical, electrical, cooling, power distribution, cabling, building monitoring, and fire protection systems; assisting with vendor management; handling remote hands requests; and supporting installations and customer-facing facility operations. The position requires a 4–5–5 rotating roster with day shifts from 7am–7pm and night shifts from 7pm–7am, and Australian citizenship is required for the necessary security clearance. Full on-the-job training is provided, and candidates with mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or building services backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
