Description
Hornbeck Offshore is hiring a Second Assistant Engineer to serve as an engineering officer aboard a vessel, managing and maintaining propulsion, power generation, cargo transfer, fuel, ballast, firefighting, refrigeration, HVAC, water, communication, navigation, and deck machinery systems. The role includes engineering watch leadership, crew and vendor management, safety and environmental compliance, cost control, mobilization and demobilization, and support for charterer relations. Candidates must hold applicable flag-state and coastal-state credentials, a valid riggers certificate, English proficiency, and at least one year of experience on DP-2 class vessels of similar size, route, and industrial mission in a position not lower than Assistant Engineer.
