Description
Hornbeck Offshore is hiring a Second Assistant Engineer to serve as an engineering officer aboard a vessel, managing and maintaining propulsion, power generation, cargo transfer, fuel, water, sewage, fire-fighting, refrigeration, HVAC, and other engineering systems. The role includes serving as Officer in Charge of the Engineering Watch, managing engineering crew and vendors, monitoring safety and environmental compliance, tracking consumables and spare parts, supporting mobilization and demobilization, and coordinating with authorities and charterers. Candidates must hold applicable flag-state and coastal-state credentials, a valid riggers certificate, English proficiency, and at least one year of experience on DP-2 class vessels of similar size, route, and industrial mission.
