Description
Northland Power is hiring a 2nd Class Shift Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of its 260-megawatt North Battleford Combined Cycle facility. The role reports to the Chief Engineer, works on-site at the North Battleford Energy Centre, and includes supervising shift operations, operating and monitoring gas and steam turbines, coordinating maintenance and emergency response, handling hazardous materials, and supporting plant performance and safety improvements. A valid Saskatchewan 2nd Class Power Engineer license is required, while combined-cycle experience is an asset; the position requires relocation to the Battlefords area and offers extended health, dental, and vision benefits.
