Description
The Boring Mill Operator sets up and operates a manual boring mill to bore, turn, and face castings, forgings, jigs, and fixtures. The role includes reading blueprints, setting feeds, speeds, and tooling, performing in-process inspection, improvising fixtures, maintaining quality and safety, and supporting continuous improvement. It is a second-shift position scheduled for four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, with a $3.00/hour shift differential, and requires a high school GED, machining fundamentals training, and BOCES or equivalent progressive machine-shop experience. The position requires U.S. work authorization without sponsorship and pays $23.00-$43.00.
