Howmet Fastening Systems is hiring a 2nd-shift CNC Operator in Torrance, California. The role involves setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining CNC machine tools; running production parts; performing first-piece verification and quality checks; completing preventative maintenance and lockout/tagout procedures; and participating in 5S, autonomous maintenance, and continuous improvement activities. Candidates need at least five years of CNC experience in the aerospace industry, blueprint and work-instruction reading skills, knowledge of cutting tools and G/M codes, basic troubleshooting ability, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
