Description
The Metal Layout and Fabrication Worker operates machines safely, lays out and marks metal workpieces, fabricates structural parts, plans cutting, drilling, bending, rolling, and welding sequences, inspects machined parts, prepares templates, and braces parts for riveting or welding. The role also includes supervisory responsibilities for shop employees, such as hiring, training, directing, coaching, and counseling. It is a full-time regular position with variable shifts, reports to a Shop Foreman, requires a high school diploma or GED, and requires no prior experience.
