Description
The Machine Shop Lead oversees daily precision CNC machining and light assembly operations, coordinating production planning, machine setup, troubleshooting, quality inspections, safety, continuous improvement, KPI monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration. The role supervises 5–8 CNC operators and setup technicians, provides hands-on training and performance feedback, supports hiring and onboarding, and manages tooling, maintenance, documentation, and production records. It requires 5–7 years of precision CNC machining experience, including turning and milling, along with strong technical, leadership, planning, and manufacturing-system skills. The position is on-site in a precision CNC machining and assembly environment and may involve flexible shifts, early or late coverage, and occasional overtime.
