Howmet Fastening Systems is hiring a Processing Technician II in Torrance, California to set up, operate, and maintain miscellaneous plating machines; process parts; read blueprints and specifications; inspect plating coverage, adhesion, and thickness; handle and clean parts; and train other operators. The role requires precision-measuring skills, blueprint interpretation, manufacturing and quality-process knowledge, and the ability to work safely in a shop-floor environment. A high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of manufacturing plating experience are preferred, while visa sponsorship is not available. The position offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) matching program, paid holidays and vacation, and $23–$26 per hour.
