Description
The Production Supervisor directly supervises up to 120 production employees and is accountable for safety, quality, delivery, cost, staffing, training, attendance, time-off, equipment, process problems, and production efficiency. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment, knowledge of lean manufacturing, and proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, databases, enterprise ERP, and timekeeping systems. The work involves frequent standing, walking, handling materials, and occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and electrical-shock risk.
