Description
The Manufacturing Sanitation Technician is responsible for completing sanitation activities across a master cleaning list of miscellaneous plant functions, including manufacturing equipment, fryers, rooms, freezers, utensils, waste areas, and other plant facilities. The role requires following Gorton’s SSOPs, chemical handling and safety training, lockout/tagout procedures, proper waste disposal, material-handling equipment operation after certification, and adherence to GMP and PPE policies. The position also requires lifting up to 60 pounds, standing for up to 10 hours, and reliable attendance.
