Description
The 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice field technician will learn from Journeyman Electricians and other apprentices while testing, calibrating, installing, repairing, and inspecting manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices. Responsibilities include interpreting electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings, pulling and splicing wire, maintaining electrical systems, testing circuits, and providing on-call support. Required qualifications include prior 1st Year Electrical Apprentice experience or schooling, First Aid/CPR with AED, H2S Alive, CSO, and CSTS, a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, a criminal background check, and a clean driving record; oil and gas experience is an asset.
