Description
The Assistant Manager executes operational, merchandising, sales, customer-service, and managerial functions for an assigned Ashley Stewart retail store during their shift. When the Store Manager is absent, the Assistant Manager serves as manager-on-duty and supervises Sales Associates. Responsibilities include driving sales, managing merchandise and inventory, scheduling staff, recruiting and training associates, developing customer relationships, executing marketing and social-media initiatives, and maintaining store standards. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of prior retail experience, supervisory experience preferred, retail math and POS skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends, and late evenings.
