CEA is hiring a 36-month fixed-term Software Development Research Engineer to support the EUROPLEXUS fast-dynamics simulation code at its DYN laboratory in Saclay. The role focuses on fluid dynamics and fluid-structure interaction, including enhancing models and numerical methods, adding valves and heat exchangers, and improving fluid-structure interaction processing. Candidates should have a master’s degree or engineering-school background, strong scientific computing skills, and proficiency with Linux, Gitlab, Docker, CMake, profiling tools, C++, and Python. The position is available from October 1, 2026.
