Description
The Transportation Logistics Manager is responsible for developing and evaluating transportation services, carriers, service providers, routes, costs, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The role analyzes carrier performance and financial information, maintains transportation agreements and supplier registers, evaluates freight quotations and new transportation solutions, monitors shipments and EDI systems, records delays and damages, and proposes process improvements. It requires a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics, basic Microsoft Office and SAP knowledge, and logistics experience; heavy indivisible cargo transportation experience is desirable.
