Description
The HVAC Design Engineer creates 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings, develops air-handling system designs, applies SMACNA calculations, performs field measurements, maintains project schedules, and coordinates with engineering, estimating, contractors, suppliers, and customers. The role requires at least five years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD 3D, mechanical layout and duct-sizing experience, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform basic calculations. An associate degree in engineering, mechanical design, or a related field is preferred, and the position may require travel to customer sites and overtime, weekends, or holidays.
