GlobalFoundries Fab8 is hiring an R&D Engineer for its Advanced Packaging Lab to lead advanced 3D Heterogeneous Integration initiatives. The role focuses on developing 3D-HI process building blocks, collaborating with unit process, manufacturing, tool, and material vendors, conducting joint development projects, integrating and planning processes, analyzing data and failure modes, resolving integration issues, and generating intellectual property. The position requires a master’s degree in a relevant engineering or materials science field, at least five years of related work experience, strong process and troubleshooting expertise, and English fluency, with up to 10% travel. The expected salary range is $98,000 to $176,000.
