Description
Westchester Day School is hiring a 3rd Grade General Studies Teacher in Mamaroneck, New York. The teacher will teach core elementary subjects, design differentiated instruction and unit plans, assess and document student progress, support Individual Education Plans, manage classroom behavior, communicate with families, supervise students, collaborate with colleagues, use educational technology, and participate in professional development. The role requires a bachelor's degree in education or a related field, elementary student experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and knowledge of evidence-based teaching and assessment practices. A master's degree, Responsive Classroom training, and knowledge of Jewish practice are preferred.
