Description
Gorton’s is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic Level 1 for its new processing facility in Lebanon, Indiana. The role coordinates shift sanitation activities, ensures equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to SSOPs, inspects cleaned equipment, audits chemicals and supplies, assists with batter and product changeovers, supports QC startups and sampling, coordinates supply orders, verifies documentation, performs housekeeping, and uses lockout/tagout procedures. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 10:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with overtime as needed. The position requires English communication, sound judgment, lockout/tagout knowledge, math and computer skills, reliable attendance, material-handling ability, the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and long periods of standing.
