Description
The Yard Jockey moves trailers around a warehouse yard, spots them for loading and unloading, maintains an orderly storage lot, operates yard trucks safely, conducts pre-trips, communicates with dispatch, and coordinates with facility personnel. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, safe truck and trailer operating skills, experience backing 53-foot trailers, 1–2 years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication, customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotated weekend shifts from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
