Sofina Foods Inc. is hiring a 4th Class Power Engineer for its Abbotsford Turkey Plant in British Columbia. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role monitors and maintains plant mechanical equipment and systems, performs pre-operational inspections and repairs, and operates a high-pressure boiler. The position offers an hourly rate of $39.70 plus shift premium, dual-ticketed status, benefits, paid vacation and sick time, and frequent overtime. Applicants need 4th Class Power Engineering certification, one year of hands-on experience, a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, maintenance experience, and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
