Description
The 4th Engineer supports the Chief, 2nd, and 3rd Engineers in providing technical and domestic and industrial services across a MODU. The role operates the MODU power plant and machinery, maintains engine-room safety, watches the Engine Control Room, manages power distribution, performs mechanical maintenance, handles bunkering and fluid transfers, maintains housekeeping, and contributes to operational procedures and risk assessments. A high school diploma and Maritime Academy graduation are required, while drilling-industry experience is preferred.
