The employer is hiring a 5-Axis CNC Operator / Setup Technician in Hebron, Kentucky to independently set up and operate Makino 5-axis machining centers and mill-turn lathes for complex aerospace components. The role covers blueprint and CAD interpretation, GD&T, tooling and fixture installation, offset adjustment, machining to tight tolerances, inspection, troubleshooting, program prove-outs, documentation, and mentoring. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of CNC machining experience including 5-axis setup, live-tooling and mill-turn experience, and proficiency with precision measuring tools. The position pays $65,000–$70,000, works Monday through Friday, and includes medical, dental, vision, and PTO benefits.
