Encode is hiring an Associate Software Engineer – Test & Verification for the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program in Hazelwood, Missouri. The role is full-time, onsite, first-shift, and lasts 5–6 months, with a maximum pay rate of $41. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining .Net test environments, creating test plans and cases, performing manual exploratory testing, developing automation scripts, documenting defects, and tracking quality metrics. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree, an active U.S. Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI, DoD 8140 foundational qualifications, at least one year of Quality Assurance experience, programming or scripting proficiency, strong analytical skills, and Agile development experience. The position requires U.S. citizenship, local clearance, and relocation at the candidate’s expense.
