Description
Software Mind is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support a client's e-commerce platform for 3–6 months. The role focuses on designing and validating probabilistic AI and statistical machine learning models for dynamic pricing, shipping cost estimation, recommendations, and segmentation, including Bayesian inference, Markov and Hidden Markov Models, MCMC sampling, mixture models, and Expectation-Maximization. The scientist will collaborate with solution architects, CTOs, and engineering teams on model architecture, production service integration, API and data-contract design, model lifecycle management, and handoff documentation. The position requires senior-level experience, strong probabilistic modeling expertise, Python or R proficiency, and the ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
