Description

Thrust Institute of Maintenance (TIM) is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Instructor to join their faculty team. The instructor will be responsible for shaping the future of aviation by imparting expertise and passion for aircraft maintenance to aspiring professionals. This involves instructional delivery, design, assessment development, and curriculum refinement. The role also includes professional development activities, student advising, and participation in school service requirements.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Aviation Maintenance or another related field is preferred.
Required Previous Experiences: One (1) year of teaching experience at a FAA Part 147 Aircraft Maintenance Training School or an Aviation CTE Program or Military Aircraft Maintenance Training Program.
At least two (2) years (4,000 hours) of approved experience in Aviation. The preference is 8,000 – 10,000 hours of work experience or a combination of work and teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching and supporting traditionally under-served student populations.
A demonstrated aptitude for developing course content and teaching in varied modalities: online, synchronous remote, traditional face-to-face, and blended (hybrid) versions of each.
