Johnson County Community College is hiring a part-time temporary AAC Tutor I - Economics to provide in-person tutoring support for students taking economics classes at the Overland Park Main Campus. The role may work up to 12 hours per week and includes drop-in, by-appointment, and semester-long tutoring; student referrals; recordkeeping; front-desk and center-support duties; computer troubleshooting; and scheduling. Applicants need a high school diploma, successful completion of collegiate Principles of Macroeconomics and Principles of Microeconomics courses, and strong communication and organizational skills. A bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or a related field, teaching or training experience, and Microsoft Office experience are preferred. The advertised pay range is $16.68-$21.23, with benefits including a tuition discount, flexible scheduling, campus gym access, and a child-development center discount.
