Boehringer Ingelheim is hiring an AAV Scientist to join a research team focused on target validation using next-generation vector technologies. The role involves producing, purifying, and analyzing AAV preparations; optimizing and characterizing AAV vectors for targeted tissue and gene modulation; applying molecular, cellular, and immunobiological methods; and developing preclinical strategies for target exploration and disease-model validation. The position requires a PhD in a relevant life-science field, several years of hands-on AAV vector experience, strong scientific and communication skills, and documented peer-reviewed publications. The start date is immediately, and the location is Biberach an der Riß, Baden-Württemberg.
