Description
The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst supports the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Responsibilities include defining system enhancements, analyzing and interpreting code, consulting with users and technology groups, recommending and installing programming solutions, supporting customer exposure systems, analyzing vulnerabilities and security issues, testing and debugging, advising lower-level analysts, and acting as a subject-matter expert. The role requires at least four years of relevant financial-services experience, intermediate applications-development experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently under limited supervision. Additional requirements include at least five years of proven Abinitio development experience and mandatory in-depth knowledge and experience with Unix scripting. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
