Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Abatement Engineer in Bangalore to own the operational health and reliability of semiconductor process equipment abatement systems. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, root-cause investigations, OEM coordination, environmental and safety compliance, tool integration, and reliability improvements. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline and 5–10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, R&D laboratories, or facilities engineering; wafer-fab experience and utility-system expertise are preferred. The position includes 10% travel and does not offer relocation eligibility.
