AWAHS is hiring an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander SEWB Programs Senior Manager for a 6-month fixed-term appointment covering an extended leave period. The role leads and mentors a diverse team across social and emotional wellbeing, mental health, alcohol and other drugs, family violence, NDIS, Aboriginal health promotion, and cultural programs; manages budgets, reporting, funding, quality, cultural safety and regulatory requirements; and contributes to strategic development. Applicants should have strong leadership and people-management experience, relevant program or management experience, qualifications in a related field or substantial relevant management experience, and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander identity with strong cultural knowledge. The position offers salary packaging of up to $15,900 tax-free, superannuation, professional development, supervision, EAP access, and potential for a longer-term career.
