Description
The Absence Case Manager acts as a process director for employers, advising on absence processes, assessing long-term absence risk, managing recovery plans, coordinating with occupational health and external providers, maintaining case files under the Dutch Gatekeeper Improvement Act, identifying complex cases, and anticipating wage sanctions. The role requires HBO-level thinking, knowledge of the Dutch Gatekeeper Improvement Act, the Regie op Verzuim diploma or current study for it, at least one year of absence case management experience, WFT Basic and Income certifications, customer orientation, and stress resistance. Compensation is €3,800–€4,400 gross per month based on 36 hours, with additional benefits including an individual choice budget, vacation days, pension accrual, health insurance, travel reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.
