Description
The Poway Unified School District is hiring AVID Tutors to support students in an AVID elective class by providing academic tutoring, serving as positive role models, encouraging college-preparatory achievement, reviewing student materials, leading mini-lessons, communicating with teachers, and participating in training. The role may be performed at a school site during daytime hours and requires candidates to be currently enrolled in good academic standing at a local college or university; high school graduates aged 16 or older may also apply.
