Temple University is hiring an Academic Advisor I for its Pre-Professional Health Advising program. The role provides comprehensive advising and high-level support to current students and alumni pursuing admission to medical and other health professional programs, including reviewing ePortfolios, providing personal statement feedback, conducting mock interviews, coordinating Pre-Health Evaluation Committee interviews, developing workshops and events, creating presentations and social media content, and analyzing placement data. The Advisor I also supports first-year student onboarding, professional school preparation, academic timelines, prerequisite requirements, and professional development. The position requires a bachelor's degree, at least two years of student-facing experience in an academic or higher education setting, and offers a hybrid on-campus and remote work arrangement with a salary range of $35,600 to $54,327.
