Description
The Substitute Teacher will provide academic instruction and basic guidance to students at the San Diego Job Corps Center in Imperial Beach, California, following approved curricula. Responsibilities include administering and correcting tests, maintaining progress and attendance records, assisting with community linkages and volunteers, reporting student absences, participating in assessment panels, and completing documentation in CIS and other systems. The role pays $30.06 per hour on an as-needed Monday-through-Friday schedule and requires a bachelor's degree and substitute teaching certification or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire, one year of instructional experience preferred, youth experience, strong communication skills, and computer proficiency.
